The Campaspe VET Cluster is a formal collaboration between member schools and stakeholders to foster a sense of collaboration, cooperation and coordination to support and enable Campaspe students’ educational and vocational pathways.
The Campaspe VET Cluster, through its member schools, RTO’s and TAFE’s offers a wide range of Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses with the aim of having the students employed or in an apprenticeship in the vocation of their choice.

“An analysis of the local skill, job and training requirements to ensure a structured approach to career exploration, course selection to meaningful employment pathways for students and school leavers in the Campaspe VET Cluster”.
This paper has informed the VET Cluster Course priorities for 2026, 2027 and beyond.
In 2026 the Campaspe VET Cluster has 894 secondary VDSS students completing 50 different VET courses with 19 RTO’s / TAFE’s. This number is a 12% increase from the 797 VDSS Students enrolled in 2025.
These healthy student enrolment numbers is in part enabled by the VET Student Transport initiative. The VET Student Transport Initiative ensures that students studying Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses, can access their training providers with free transport in regional and rural areas. The VET Transport Initiative supports families facing cost-of-living pressures and helps students achieve excellent educational and vocational outcomes. This initiative provides tailored transport solutions, benefiting 232 students in the Campaspe VET Cluster in 2026, and has been particularly beneficial to some of our most remote areas, significantly increasing student VET engagement and enrolment numbers. This number is a 53% increase from the 152 VDSS Students transported by the initiative in 2025.
These students are enrolled in the various VET courses that are delivered at various locations such as: Echuca College, Bendigo TAFE - Echuca Campus, GOTAFE Wangaratta Tone Road Campus, GOTAFE Shepparton; Archer Street, Fryers Street and William Orr Campus’s.
The Campaspe VET Transport Initiative is funded by the Victorian State Government and is a key component in supporting regional students’ access to vocational education opportunities. By connecting these students to a diverse range of campuses and therefore courses, it not only enhances educational participation but also contributes to local skills development and workforce readiness.
