We are thrilled to share that our inaugural YTO program is well underway, and we are excited to partner with the North Central Catchment Management Authority (NCCMA) for this remarkable journey.
As we enter the second week of our intensive 8-week group work experience program, the energy and enthusiasm among our participants are palpable. The YTO program is designed to empower our youth with a comprehensive set of skills while fostering a strong sense of community engagement and environmental consciousness. Our participants are not just learning; they are shaping their futures.
This week, our participants had the unique opportunity to spend a day at Gunbower Forest, where they immersed themselves in hands-on experience while actively contributing to NCCMA's impactful initiatives. The ability to engage with real-world projects, such as those led by the NCCMA, provides our youth with practical skills and a deeper understanding of their ability to effect positive change.
