Rushworth P12 College's Vocational Major Class had an eye opener of a day, with a bus trip around our towns. First stop was Greenham and Sons in Tongala to see and talk about all things beef. An amazing operation and incredible opportunities.
Byford Equipment in Moama walked us through the complicated process of making, from the ground up, food grade tankers used for milk transport. We all enjoyed a delicious lunch courtesy of Byford and Cafe Worx.
O'Connors showcased the machine and spare parts departments that keep our farmers running and put together a great quiz; with fun prizes!
It was a big day out in the world, helping students see and hear about the many opportunities for work experience and career pathways in our region.
