The inaugural meeting of CCLLEN was held in March 2002, making the organisation 20 years old this year!
In those 20 years the organisation has had three Executive Officers, more than 24 staff, 74 board members and three Chairpersons.
Peter Williams is our elder statesman, having been on the board since the beginning, and served 9 years as Chair. Kerrie Raglus was on the board for 17 years, 10 as Chair. Paul Marshall is the newcomer, with 4 years on the board, 1 as Chair.

- Murray River Culinary Challenge – since 2011 (prior to that it was run by another organisation)
- VET Awards – since 2010
- School Friendly Businesses – since 2011
- Partnership with Beacon – since 2002, with CCLLEN staffing the position since 2014
- Youth Partnerships – since 2012. Not bad for an initiative that was originally funded for 18 months
- Kyabram Industry Day – since 2010, in various formats
- Youth Expo – since 2013
- Student Log Books – since 2011
- Health Careers Events – since 2014

- Upload Your Future, 2012 to 2013, although we have run our own self funded version of this from 2014 to 2019

We started this year with a new addition in the L2P Learner Driver program.
The future looks promising with the Department of Education seeing a role for LLENs in the implementation of the Senior Secondary Pathways Reform and continuing work in school and industry engagement. We hope for a four year contract, and we hope for an increase in funding. That would see us celebrating 25 years.
