At the end of 2023, the MRCC working group collaborated with trainers to review the MRCC brand and our competition content creation.
As we step into 2024, we've unveiled refreshed logos, innovative menus that better align with the curriculum, and shortened competition times to fit more seamlessly into school timetables.
Unfortunately, interest in Hospitality across all schools this year has been lower. However, Echuca College continues to show strong numbers and has welcomed enthusiastic students from St. Joseph College into their classes.
Recently, students were challenged to present a chicken fillet stuffed with Mediterranean flavors, sweet potato mash, and fresh asparagus, followed by a classic Sticky Date dessert with various sides and garnishes.
The competition was exceptionally close this year, with just 4 points separating the top contenders.
Heading into the Regional final for Echuca College are Natalie Cashmore and Jessica Spicer. Congratulations to all our talented students!
