ICT Day at Rochester Secondary College: A Day of Innovation and Learning
On November 27, Rochester Secondary College hosted a dynamic ICT Day, open to all secondary schools within Campaspe shire. The event catered to students with a keen interest in exploring ICT-related career options and pathways.
Throughout the day, students participated in specialist workshops led by renowned industry experts and academic institutions. Latrobe University presented insights into robotics, while other sessions covered a range of exciting topics such as cybersecurity, presented by Advance Computing, drone technology from the experts at GMW water, Python coding, delivered by the Brainery and game design from the Australian Institute of Electronics (AIE).
The hands-on, interactive nature of the workshops gave students a unique opportunity to explore future career possibilities in the ever-evolving field of ICT. The event was a great success, sparking curiosity and inspiration among the next generation of technology innovators.
