CCLLEN, in partnership with the Industry Training Hub and Community Vibe, organised Industry Tours in the Campaspe Shire, Victoria. These tours were designed to provide students in Years 10, 11, and 12 with valuable insights into various industries and their daily operations.
Students had the opportunity to visit employers and businesses across sectors such as Engineering, Early Childhood Education and Care, Hospitality and Retail, Agriculture, Health Care & Social Assistance, Food Processing, and Building and Construction.
Feedback from students indicated that they found the visited sites relevant to their future career interests and helped them gain a better understanding of the skills and qualifications required in their chosen industries.
Teachers also recognised the value of the tours in preparing students for their future careers, as they observed increased understanding of the skills and qualifications necessary for different industries.
Businesses expressed satisfaction with the visits, appreciating the opportunity to showcase their work environments and engage with students.
Industry professionals commended the well-organized nature of the tours and praised the respectful and engaged behavior displayed by the students.
