The Campaspe VET Cluster has been busy driving improvements in vocational education and training across the region. Recent meetings with the Operations and Governance Groups have provided valuable guidance as we plan for 2026 and beyond. A detailed analysis of industry demand, student career preferences, and current course offerings revealed key training gaps in Allied Health, Agriculture, and Automotive.
To address these gaps, new programs will launch in 2026, including Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (Bendigo TAFE, Echuca) and Certificate II in Agriculture (Echuca College). Planning is also underway for 2027 delivery of Agriculture and Automotive courses in partnership with Bendigo TAFE.
In addition, the Cluster is investing in local VET trainer development. Saville Training recently delivered the Assessor Skill Set to local teachers, and Bendigo TAFE will offer the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from February 2026 for industry stakeholders. These initiatives aim to strengthen the local training workforce and create new career pathways across the Campaspe region.
