The Campaspe TAC L2P Program has had a successful 2024, having achieved KPI targets for the months of May to December. Throughout 2024, there were more than 30 active learners on the road with their mentors, working hard on achieving the required 120 hours of driving.
Twelve learners graduated from the program having successfully gained their driver licence. This is a wonderful outcome and a testament to all our learners and mentors for their hard work and dedication.
TAC L2P in-school programs were launched at Rochester Secondary College, Rushworth P-12 College and St Augustine's College in Kyabram. The in-school program plays a vital role in assisting students to complete their required learner driving hours, which are essential for obtaining a driver's licence. By offering additional driving practice during school hours, this ensures that students who may not have access to a private vehicle or a qualified supervising driver can still meet the necessary requirements for their licence. Dedicated L2P mentors are working closely with the schools and students to facilitate drives around the student's school timetable.
The Rochester SES provided CCLLEN with funding to purchase a new L2P vehicle based in Rochester. This funding has made it possible for the TAC L2P program to provide a reliable and well-maintained vehicle for learners in Rochester and surrounding areas, further enhancing the program's reach and impact.
