We are proud to share that the Campaspe L2P Program was recognised at the recent statewide L2P Conference in Melbourne. Our program received the prestigious Excellence Award, highlighting the outstanding impact we've made in supporting young drivers. In addition, Paul Butler from Rochester was honoured with the Outstanding New Mentor Award for his incredible dedication and commitment to helping learners succeed.
These achievements reflect the strength of our community and the passion of our volunteers who make the L2P Program thrive.
During 2025, the Campaspe TAC L2P Program received 63 new learner applications and welcomed 12 newly trained mentors, bringing our total number of active mentors to 32. Together, they supported learners through an incredible 4,410 hours of driving practice, complemented by 138 hours of professional driving instruction through our local drive schools. These numbers reflect the dedication of our mentors and the commitment of our community to help young people gain independence and confidence on the road.
One of the most exciting milestones for the program this year was celebrating the success of 21 learners who graduated and obtained their driver licence. Their achievement is a testament to their hard work and the incredible guidance provided by our volunteer mentors and partners.
