Heygarth House was designed by a Bendigo architect, W.C Vahland and built in 1876. The building was originally a surgery for Dr. Henry Crossen in 1876. It was used continuously as a doctor’s surgery up until 1999, except for one period during World War 2 when it became a boarding house.
Today there are five organisations in Heygarth House, CCLLEN, Echuca Moama Beacon Foundation, Shire of Campaspe, Mirrimbeena Aboriginal Educational Group, and Haven (formerly known as Loddon Mallee Housing).
