Campaspe Youth Services Network

The Campaspe Cohuna Local Learning and Employment Network (CCLLEN) has taken on the facilitation role for the Campaspe Youth Services Network. The Youth Services Network last came together in May 2010, at that time, under the lead agency of the Shire of Campaspe.

On Thursday March 31^st the group met in the function room at the Shire Offices. Twenty four people from seventeen local community organisations attended. New Terms of Reference for the Network were adopted, with its goal being to ‘provide an opportunity to share information and connect with youth service organisations and practitioners across the Shire of Campaspe.’ The objectives of the Network are as follows:

1. To share information and resources
2. To provide a forum to promote youth services and initiatives
3. To reduce duplication and fragmentation of effort
4. To facilitate new partnerships that support organisational goals and work plans.

Membership comes from regional Schools, Welfare & Community Services, the Primary Care Partnership, Local & State Government, Commonwealth Services and the CCLLEN.

Meetings are to be held quarterly from 11am-12.30pm in the Function Room at the Shire of Campaspe offices in Echuca. The dates set for these meetings for the remainder of 2011 are – June 30^th, September 8^th and November 24^th. Participants will have the opportunity to update the meeting on any new projects or exciting news. Participants are also encouraged to exchange business cards and bring along literature from their organisation that they might like to distribute.
